In a nutshell, I specialize in the physiological and psychological factors that influence people’s behaviors with food and exercise.

This work looks different for everyone. But, it often includes:

  • —Understanding how certain foods and food combinations affect hunger, fullness, and cravings 🍽️.(I.e. Metabolic Nutrition)

  • —Unpacking how the diet & fad exercise culture has shaped beliefs about food & exercise—such as all-or-nothing thinking, shame, and labeling foods as “good” or “bad.” 🍪

  • —Recognizing how female and male physiology 🧬(including menopausal physiology)—can respond differently to various eating and exercise approaches.

As a Health Behavior Change Specialist, I go much deeper than typical health coaching.

I bring a strong understanding of America’s dieting and fitness culture 🍪🏋️‍♀️—and how the thoughts, emotions, and beliefs it creates shape our behaviors around food and movement.

I also bring deep expertise in how the relationship we have with our body 🪞❤️ can influence our internal dialogue, self-trust, and behaviors. (*This may be more or less relevant depending on the person.)

In addition, I bring a very thorough understanding of food and exercise science 🧬, including how metabolism, nutrition, and physiology influence our behaviors and results.

Unlike general health coaching, which often focuses on broad wellness habits🌱, my work dives deep on the specific, layered factors that drive eating and exercise behaviors—helping you create personalized, lasting change.🎯
