Ashley’s coaching is for:
Women who are exhausted by the cycle of restriction, overthinking, guilt, and “falling off track” and are ready to create a peaceful, sustainable way of eating, exercising, and living that works WITH their body.
You know what to do…
So why does it still feel so hard?
You’ve tried the plans.
Tracked the points.
Started over on Monday more times than you can count.
Maybe you can “be good” all day… only to feel out of control around food at night.
Maybe exercise has started to feel more like punishment than self-care.
Maybe you swing between:
-Trying too hard,
-Giving up,
-And wondering what’s wrong with you.
But the truth is:
The problem isn’t that you’re lazy, broken, or lacking willpower…
The problem is that you’ve been taught to override your body instead of understand it.
And for many women, their relationship with their body has become one of the deepest drivers of their eating and exercise habits.
Real change happens when you stop fighting your body, and start working WITH it.
My approach combines:
-Science,
-Psychology,
-And Body Wisdom…
To help you uncover what actually works for your unique body and life.
Because sustainable health isn’t created through perfection, control, or constant self-criticism.
It’s created by understanding your unique biology, recognizing the psychology behind your patterns, and learning how to listen to and work WITH your body.
Hi! I’m Ashley Schoborg, a Health Behavior Change Specialist with over two decades of experience helping women stop starting over with healthy eating and exercise 💛
Before my education and experience in exercise and nutrition science, I lived the same cycles so many women know well: restriction, guilt, overexercising, and believing I simply needed more willpower.
For me, my worth had become deeply tied to the way my body looked, shaping many of my eating and exercise behaviors.
That experience changed the way I see healthy eating and exercise completely ✨
Now, I combine exercise & nutrition science, psychology, and body wisdom to help women learn how to listen to, understand, and work WITH their body…creating lasting change 🧠🌿
Helping women make that same shift from stress and self-judgment → trust & peace 🕊️ is at the heart of my work.

Understanding Ashley’s Work Deeper
And how it helps you…
Physiology + Psychology🧬🧠
In a nutshell, I specialize in the physiological and psychological factors that influence women’s behaviors with food and exercise.
This work looks different for everyone. But, it often includes:
—Understanding how certain foods and food combinations affect hunger, fullness, and cravings 🍽️.(I.e. Metabolic Nutrition)
—Unpacking how the diet & fad exercise culture has shaped beliefs about food & exercise—such as all-or-nothing thinking, shame, and labeling foods as “good” or “bad.” 🍪
—Can include exploring how your relationship with your body influences how you eat and move🏃♂️🥗
—Recognizing how female physiology 🧬(including menopausal physiology)—can respond differently to various eating and exercise approaches.

Long-Term Habit Change 🌿
I also focus on long-term habit change—what actually works in real life, not in theory.
That means learning how to eat and exercise in a way that fits your unique body, preferences, and lifestyle, rather than forcing yourself into someone else’s rules.
In addition, learning practical strategies for managing cravings in real life, 🍫🛠️ instead of white-knuckling through and then rebounding.
Long-Term Success Is Not About Needing More Willpower 💡
Most people think they need more willpower. ❌
In reality, sustainable change comes from setting up your environment, habits, and expectations so you need less of it—not more.
How My Work Is Different From A Health Coach🌿
As a Health Behavior Change Specialist, I go much deeper than typical health coaching.
I bring a strong understanding of America’s dieting and fitness culture 🍪🏋️♀️—and how the thoughts, emotions, and beliefs it creates shape our behaviors around food and movement.
I also bring deep expertise in how the relationship we have with our body 🪞❤️ can influence our internal dialogue, self-trust, and behaviors. (*This may be more or less relevant depending on the person.)
In addition, I bring a very thorough understanding of food and exercise science 🧬, including how metabolism, nutrition, and physiology influence our behaviors and results.
Unlike general health coaching, which often focuses on broad wellness habits🌱, my work dives deep on the specific, layered factors that drive eating and exercise behaviors—helping you create personalized, lasting change.

FAQs
-
Not at all. Some women come to me primarily because they feel stuck with food, while others are frustrated with exercise, body image, or weight. Wherever you feel stuck, we work together to uncover what is keeping you in the cycle and create a healthier, more sustainable way forward.
-
No. My approach combines science, psychology, and body wisdom to help you understand what and how to eat, how to exercise in a way that supports your body, and how to shift the patterns that have kept you stuck. You’ll receive practical education and personalized guidance, along with support in creating a healthier relationship with food, exercise, and your body.
-
If weight loss is one of your goals, yes.
We start by helping you step out of cycles of overeating, restriction, and feeling out of control with food. From there, we build consistency with eating and exercise in a way that feels realistic for your life and your body.
For some women, that alone leads to natural weight changes. For others, we may also fine-tune their nutrition more intentionally once things feel more steady.
-
Almost all of the women I work with feel this way when they come to me.
It’s not that you lack discipline or knowledge.
It’s that most approaches don’t account for the real-life patterns, emotions, and body responses that drive your eating and exercise habits.
Together, we take a different approach that helps you step out of the cycle of starting over and build something that actually works because it fits your unique biology, life, and preferences.
-
We start with a complimentary consultation to talk through where you are right now and what you’re struggling with.
From there, you can choose whether 1:1 coaching, the group program, or a combination of both feels like the best fit for you.
Once we begin, we do a deep dive into your habits, patterns, challenges, and goals. This includes time spent together in session, as well as time I spend reviewing and synthesizing what’s going on for you behind the scenes.
From there, I create a clear roadmap for your next steps so you know exactly what direction we’re moving in and what to focus on.
The coaching and educational pieces then bring that roadmap to life, supporting you in applying it in a way that fits your real life and actually creates lasting change.
This work is collaborative, highly personalized, and very supportive. I’m not here to give you generic advice…
I’m here to help you understand yourself deeply and guide you step by step toward a way of eating, exercising, and living that finally feels sustainable.

"I came to Ashley during menopause, frustrated that my body felt like it was working against me. No matter what I tried, nothing seemed to stick, and I was constantly stressed about food and weight.
Ashley helped me take a step back and reconnect with my body. She explained the science of what was happening, but more importantly, she taught me how to listen to my own inner wisdom. That combination was exactly what I needed.
Now, I don’t feel like I’m fighting my body anymore. I feel at peace in my skin, I understand what works for me, and I know I can trust myself moving forward. This isn’t just about food-it’s about freedom."
-Jennifer P.
Before working with Ashley, I felt trapped in the endless cycle of dieting, losing weight, and then gaining it all back. Food was always on my mind. Every bite felt like a battle between guilt and willpower. I was exhausted.
Ashley’s approach was unlike anything I had tried before. Instead of handing me another set of rules, she helped me understand my own body, my habits, and the psychology behind why I ate the way I did. For the first time, I wasn’t fighting against myself-I was working with my body.
Now, I eat without shame. I feel calm, balanced, and in control. The freedom I’ve found has spilled over into every part of my life. This is truly the first time I feel like I’m not on a “plan.” I’m simply living."
